Residency Conference

Family & Friends

Family & Friends are Welcome to Join You!

The residency conference is a time to complete academic requirements and celebrate, and often family and friends will accompany students during all or part of the week.

Family and friends are welcome to stay with you on campus if you choose on-campus housing (fees do apply), or you can stay with them off campus.

In terms of scheduling your residency week, plan to have family and friends attend events and celebrations on Thursday and Friday. Monday through Wednesday will be devoted to academic residency activities that are for students only, but there is plenty for your family and friends to do around Central Vermont.

Please note: Adult-supervised children are always welcome on the Norwich University campus but they must be supervised at all times. We recommend that you do not bring them to the sessions with you. The University does not provide or make recommendations for babysitting services during the week.
