Academic Recognition Ceremonies
The Academic Recognition Ceremony or "hooding" ceremony is an important aspect of the graduation festivities. During this formal ceremony, you will be draped with your master's hood in preparation for the graduation ceremony on Friday. Depending on your program, Academic Recognition Ceremonies (ARCs) can include honor society inductions, awards for high achieving students or popular faculty, or recognition of professional accomplishments outside of the classroom. The ARCs will take place Thursday afternoon, students are strongly encouraged to attend as well as family and guests.
